There is a library of French counter-revolutionary authors, which would serve as a reference and a study for integralist readings, among which are Charles Maurras , Georges Valois, and Georges Sorel. The library created by NaçãoPortuguesa was a true editorial section aimed at empowering readers for the necessary and inevitable resurgence of Portugal. This was why it was suggested that they should provide vital assistance in order to contribute more and more to the development and growth of the magazine's editorial section.
In the field of historiography, NaçãoPortuguesa turned to Portuguese counter-revolutionary authors. At the end of each issue of the magazine, the following names stand out in Portuguese counter-revolutionary thought, in a kind of library that served as a reference for integralist studies and readings: Faustino José da Madre de Deus, José Agostinho de Macedo (Fernando Campos, "No Centenário da morte do Fr. José Agostinho de Macedo" [On the centenary of the death of Friar José Agostinho de Macedo], vol. VII, 1931-32) and Frei Fortunato de S. Boaventura (Fernando Campos, "D. Frei Fortunato de S. Boaventura, Mestre da Contra-Revolução I, II, III e (Conclusão)" [D. Friar Fortunato of St. Bonaventure , Master of the Counter-Revolution I, II, III and ( Conclusion )], series V, 1928; no. 2, 1928; no. 3, 1928 and no. 4, 1928). The existence of a library of genuinely Portuguese counter-revolutionary authors — formulated through a true genealogy that goes from Saint Anthony of Lisbon to the 19th century , with Alexandre Herculano, Ramalho Ortigão (Alberto de Monsaraz, "Ramalho de Ortigão", no. 9, October 1915, António Sardinha, "A família de Ramalho" [ Ramalho's family ], no. 11, 1926 and no. 12, 1926), Eça de Queiroz (Hipólito Raposo, "Pensamento político de Eça de Queiroz" [Eça de Queiroz's political thought ], no. 12, 1916) and Oliveira Martins (João Ameal, "Escritores Nacionalistas" [ Nationalist writers ], series VI, 1931)— is related to the Integralist claim to rebut the Republican accusation that Lusitanian Integralism was a mere French intellectual import linked to Charles Mauras' Action Française .
